K.N.H. Medical College & Hospitals, Bhagalpur

Kirti Nath Hahnemannian Medical College & Hospital was established on 10 th April, 1946 by Dr. S.N.S.Capore a pioneer of Homoeopathy in India , eminent Homoeopathic educationist, a social workers and a well know Homoeopathic physician of Bihar . It is a premier Homoeopathic institute of the country with 60 years high teaching academic record, the institute provides all opportunities for the professional career of students by imparting 4 and half years full time B.H.M.S. (Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine Surgery) degree course and one year compulsory internship in the college Hospitals.

The college was first recognised by Bihar State Board of Homoeopathic Medicine, Patna in 1960. It was amongst the first two college in India where Drug Proving Research Unit was established by the Ministry of health Govt. of India, New Delhi .

In 1985 the college was granted permanent affiliation by Bihar University , Muzaffarpur for B.H.M.S. Degree Course and Graded B.H.M.S. Course.

Campus : The college is situated in its own palatial building with a compound of about 12 acres of land in the V.I.P. area of Bhagalpur Municipal Corporation near the Distric Magistrate's bungalow. The college provides an environment conducive to learning in a strategic and scenic location adjacent to lush green park of Sundar Ban and in close proximity to river Ganga .
